PRESIDENT’S WELCOME MESSAGE

“Pireas” is the traditional gathering of Maritime Executives and Decision Makers, from all over the world, organized by Hellenic Shipbrokers Association biannually since 1995.

“Pireas 2011” continues the tradition of meeting in Greece, being a premier global Shipping event, strengthening the personal relations and giving a chance to enjoy the Greek hospitality.

In this respect,  HSA decided as from this year, to honour a Maritime country which has a prominent role in International Maritime Industry.  This year's honoured country is China which has a leading position in the world economy.

Over the years the number of participants is increasing. “Pireas 2009”, hosted over 3.500 guests . We aim to exceed this number in this year’s event.
